Can you help me find a knitting teacher in St Louis?

I am looking for someone in the West County area of St. Louis to help me with my beginning knitting project. I would love to find someone who would be patient and kind as I learn. I am currently stuck. I put my knitting down to answer the phone and went back to it and now I have a hole and a second row where there should be only one row!
