How do I stop my yarn winding as I knit?
by: Kathy

Yarn is twisted when it is made so it may twist some as you work with it, but most yarns don't cause that much of a problem. I have had this problem with yarn that has a thread twisted into it to make it knobby. When I get my yarn I roll it into a ball and pull fron the center so when the yarn twists too much I can clip the pull thread to the ball and let it dangle to unwind.
You can try not holding the yarn too tight as you knit too. I knit tightly and will get some twisting when I do.
