Sorry, I gave you the wrong stitch. SSK is slip,slip,knit - slip the first and second sts 1 at a time as if to knit. Then insert point of left-hand needle into the fronts of these 2 sts and knit them together. It is a decrease stitch though. Try this site if you need to find some more.

This means to slp the first and second stitches from the left needle onto the right needle, then knit the next stitch on the left needle and pass the 2 slipped stitches you slipped onto the right needle over that stitch. What it does is makes the 3 stitches 1 stitch. It's a way to decrease.
