What does "wrap next st, turn" mean?

by Marg
(Pittsford, New York)

I'm knitting my first pair of socks and I'm doing the back of ankle and in row 1 (RS) (P1, K1) 14 times, wrap next st, turn.

Row 2: (WS) Sl 1 (wrapped st)pwise, (p1,k1) 13 times, P1, wrap next st (first st of original rnds), turn.

So really my question in after the 14 times in row 1 is the wrap just bringing the yarn from back to front and then turning to WS and slipping the st?

Thanks
